Statement of Need

As is commendable by the ACCME criteria, CME is integrated into the process for improving professional practice with educational strategies implemented to remove, overcome or address barriers to physician change. • Discuss current trends in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the facial structures and oral cavity
• Describe significant clinical developments and advances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and trauma to the facial structures and oral cavity
• Interpret advantages and disadvantages of new dentoalveolar, orthognathic, preprosthetic, and temporomandibular surgical techniques as presented in the current literature
