Description
2024 Course Overview
Neuro-oncology is a rapidly evolving multi-disciplinary field, which involves the medical, radiation, and surgical management of pediatric and adult patients with primary and metastatic tumors of the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral nervous system (PNS). In addition, modern molecular neuropathology and neuroradiology concepts are essential for accurate diagnosis and classification. This three-day CME course, Annual Update in Neuro-Oncology, is designed to provide an international audience with a comprehensive review of the diagnosis and management of pediatric and adult patients with primary and metastatic CNS and PNS tumors and neurological complications of cancer. Our target audience will be the providers involved in the care of adult and pediatric neuro-oncology patients (oncologists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, and neuropathologists). The course will also be of high relevance to nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, pharmacists, and nurses.
