Pathology Review Questions: Question Book 1.2 (2020) Systemic Pathology 2020 Original pdf
Pathology Review Questions: Question Book 1.2 (2020) Systemic Pathology (heart and blood vessels, hematopoietic and lymphoid, and lung) without images
About the book: This book provides pathology review questions for students preparing for their medical school pathology course exams or for the USMLE® Step One medical licensing examination. The authors have no connection to the NBME® or USMLE®; however, the questions are written in the format required by this testing agency.
The format of the book is one question per page, followed by the explanation on a separate page, which is perfect for review on a mobile device; however, on a phone, landscape mode will be needed to best view the print
This book provides:
- 205 USMLE-style questions
- Covering systemic pathology, including heart and blood vessels, hematopoietic and lymphoid, and lung
- With explanations that are focused on providing a concise understanding of why the correct answer is the best choice based upon the provided scenario, and, where appropriate, why the incorrect answer choices do not fit the scenario as well
- Without images (image-question books are forthcoming)
These questions are available on our blogs; however, the questions are separated between two blogs and in a format different than Kindle offers. So, we are now publishing these questions in this format with the understanding that some students would rather study from a book-format than a blog-post.
More questions will be published in book-format very soon, to include systemic pathology topics and image-based questions.
About the authors: We are academic pathologists who teach at a U.S. medical school. We have a proven track record of educating medical students, and are the collective recipients of numerous teaching awards. We are writing these questions with the ultimate goal of providing students with high quality, comprehensive, and very affordable (if not free) review material to aid in their study and understanding of pathology.
Our efforts are motivated by a love of teaching, a fascination with pathology, and a strong desire to see all students succeed. We want students to succeed on USMLE® Step 1, but more importantly we want students to evolve into outstanding physicians. We firmly believe that a solid comprehension of pathology is key to the success of any doctor, in any field.
