Nazim Cerkes – Personal profile and master videos

Dr. Cerkes was born in Istanbul in 1959. He graduated from the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine–Ankara in 1983. He completed his plastic surgery training at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, followed by a research and clinical fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1990 to 1991.

From 1992 to 2002 Dr. Cerkes served as Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, and worked chiefly in reconstructive microsurgery.

In 2002 Dr. Cerkes founded the Cosmed Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center in Istanbul; he has been in private practice since that time. Dr. Cerkes has mainly focused on rhinoplasty for the last 15 years and has been invited to several international meetings as faculty.

Dr. Cerkes is Second Vice President of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and a founding member and Vice President of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe. He is an Editorial Board Member of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS) and an International Editorial Board Member of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) and Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ).
