This activity provides participants with a case based learning opportunity to focus on consults, choice of ablation modality, procedure techniques (pearls and pitfalls), management of complications, and patient follow-up.
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologists and other physicians at all levels with special interest in lung ablation.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this enduring activity, participants should be able to:
- Explain the range of available ablation techniques and their proper clinical applications as related to the treatment of lung tumors.
- Discuss the ‘pearls and pitfalls’ specific to performing lung ablation.
- Identify patient management techniques and follow-up for lung ablation.
