This case-based course is designed to address and highlight common issues encountered in the selection, procedural and peri-procedural management of Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) and other women’s interventions. The overall goal is to improve diagnostic skills, gain technical insights and better understand limitations of IR procedures in complex disease states associated with UAE.
The activity is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologists and other physicians at all levels with special interest in women’s health.

Upon completion of this Webinar, participants should be able to:
- Recognize diagnoses of more rare disease entities affecting this patient population.
- Distinguish the risks and benefits of the wide array of treatment options available.
- Identify nuances of procedural techniques to improve patient safety.
